Light and neutral. Our beautiful Honey tone creates a fresh, welcoming environment and has a wonderful open effect in small spaces.

1. One design trick to completely add a new look to your kitchen is to add some vibrant colors. Adding or changing countertops, backsplashes and new faucets are easy ways to give your kitchen a more vibrant look. Also, 2009 trends are pointing to blue as being the new green, purples, cooled-down, greyed-out browns and greys. Take a look at our backsplashes, they can completely change the feel of your kitchen, and bring more life and vibrancy into your home.

2. Make sure that you plan your new kitchen around your lifestyle. Think about how many cooks you have in your family. If you have more than one cook, adding an island (which can be made out of our cabinets) can create a fun cooking atmosphere. Also, if you have a large family or throw a lot of parties, think about getting some extra appliances, like a double oven.

3. The way you set up the lighting in your kitchen can make a world of a difference (remember that lighting has a useful purpose too, safety). Even the brightest lighting arrangement will cast shadows if you are working at a counter. Try adding some lighting underneath wall cabinets to brighten up the counter, plus our light valances will not only cover up bulbs and fixtures, but the also add the highly popularized recessed lighting effect.

4. Adding a backsplash to your kitchen (in the space between the counter and wall cabinets) can go a long way, and it is a great area to add color and contrast.

5. If you really want to create a unique and drastic look to your kitchen, choose the type of knob that best fits your personality. Stainless steel really provides any kitchen with a modern look.

6. Want to eliminate counter clutter? Try adding a heavy duty magnetic strip to your backsplash and hang your kitchen knives (and get rid of the knife holder/block).

7. Need a lot more storage space than what you currently have, and have some extra space to spare? Consider adding an island. With a few of our cabinets, you can make your own island and add at least 2 more cabinets for storage. If you browse through our photo galleries, you’ll be able to see how this solution has worked for many of our clients.

8. Do you have a corner in your kitchen that is just a waste of space? Products like the Corner Lazy Susan Base Cabinet, Corner Easy Reach Base Cabinet, Corner Angle Cabinets, and Blind Corner Cabinets, offer a great storage solution that fit perfectly into any corner setup.

9. You can also Maximize on potentially wasted storage space and stretch your space and save money with cabinet organizers that come already installed (Lazy Susan cabinets, Easy Reach cabinets, spice drawers, pull out drawers, and trash pull out cabinets).

10. If you have an open and good size kitchen, stack deferent height of cabinets to make focal points and add interests to the kitchen.

11. Crown moldings add classic touch to modern style cabinets.

12. Incorporate glass doors. Lighting and glass shelves can be added in the glass cabinet to showcase the display inside.

Money Saving Tips

1. Keep your old sink (if it is in good condition) instead of buying a new one. When you order your cabinets, base them around the size of your sink. You can also buy new facets to give you sink a newer look.

2. If your dishwasher is still in good working condition, outfit the front panel with a new one, and it will look brand new. You can remove the front panel and replace it with a piece of laminate (you can get creative and find a color that fits you), or you can get extra creative and replace the panel with chalkboard, which spells fun for kids (and kids at heart).
