A Total Transformation
From our designer Annie: The original kitchen looked uniformed and boring. The layout was cramped with too many same-sized cabinets, and the overall look of the kitchen lacked color and life.
Our Shaker Cognac cabinets brought richness and simple elegance to this customer’s kitchen. By utilizing different height and depth cabinets on the wall, along with incorporating glass doors, our design added variety to the leveled height of the original kitchen. This design effect also adds a focal point and added interest to the kitchen.
In addition, our Glowing Copper glass tile backsplashes complimented the Cognac cabinet color and give the kitchen a modern touch.
Design Tips for This Type of Kitchen
1. For open and larger sized kitchens, mounting different heights of cabinets to the wall will make focal points and add interest to your kitchen.
2. Crown molding adds a classic touch to modern style cabinets.
3. Incorporate glass doors. Lighting and glass shelves can be added inside the cabinet, and the glass door will showcase the displays inside.
