The kitchen's story:
This kitchen is in desperate need of updtating. The cabinets, born 1978 have been painted and yes, wallpapered and then "protected" with polyurethane!! The linoleum floor is rolling up at the edges and while the brick arch might look good from a distance, a quick walk into the kitchen reveals that those are fake bricks that have been glued to the wall and..you can see them falling off. The walls have been tiled using glossy bathroom tiles. The gold speckeled countertops are a scarred from 30 years of not using a cutting board.

10 points ugly fake bricks, floor hideous, cabinets needs a full overlay, bathroom tiles in kitchen ouch! , need granite, get rid of the white water sprayer, wasted space over stove area, need new sink should be deep and single not double since dishwasher available and new paint on walls . . .sorry

You can see just from the pictures that it really needs some work done. The cabinets cannot have anything else done to them besides burning them. The floor once the lanolium starts curling up it is over it will just keep getting worse. I vote she definitely needs a makeover.

I think a little paint and glue could do wonders for this kitchen. Of course it takes alittle elbow grease. I like the arch too. Great potential.
