The kitchen's story:
If home is where the heart is, my kitchen is the heartbeat. At least, WAS the heartbeat. I used to love cooking for my family, esp. for large gatherings with out-of-town relatives. Now I’m so embarrassed by my kitchen, I send them to my sister’s house! Thirty years of culinary wear and tear have resulted in cabinets warping away from walls, a cracked oven from overheating, peeling linoleum, mildew under the sink, and more. I’ve tried doing some renovations, but my poor health due to lupus and poor finances haven’t allowed me to get far. Your vote can turn this catastrophe into a blessing!

I hope your dream comes true. We have lived in our home 41 yrs and we have refurbished our kitchen twice by putting in new ceramic floors, replacing a/c vents, painting walls, etc. Good luck!
