The Mei Kitchens Cabinet Warranty
Mei Kitchens and Ace Kitchen Direct, LLC hereby warrants to the original purchasing consumer that all cabinets are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This Warranty covers the original purchasing consumer with Proof of Purchase and runs for 5 years. This Warranty is expressly limited to repair or replacement of the defective products, and does not include labor for removal or replacement. Some replacement parts are subject to availability, and may differ from those originally supplied.
Because of its inherent nature, wood will expand and contract in accordance with its environment. Temperature, humidity and other changeable conditions often affect wood movement; therefore a limited guarantee will apply. We guarantee all our products (except those otherwise specified) for five year from the date of shipment. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Guarantees do not apply when there has been improper storage, handling or finishing on the part of the Customer.
Any items claimed to be defective must be returned to us, prepaid, for our inspection. Cabinet Doors and Kitchen Cabinet Doors 42” and over carry no guarantees against warpage. Warpage of less than 1/4” is not considered a defect. Cabinet glass or mullions Doors carry no guarantee against warpage. This guarantee does not apply to costs incurred after the product leaves our facility.
Mei Kitchens does not cover expansion defects and/or joint separations (most notably with mitered doors) that occur as a result of high humidity/high moisture conditions or exposure to extremes in humidity or temperature. When a claim for warpage/joint separation is submitted, Mei Kitchens, at its option and after inspection, defer action 12 months to allow the doors to acclimate to the environment.
It is the nature of wood products to have variations in the grain pattern and wood color. Surface finishes may be affected by exposure to sunlight and other elements and are part of the aging process. These material variations, expansion and contraction, and finish changes are not covered by this Warranty. We will not repair or replace any product if damage is caused by improper use or maintenance such as the use of abrasives or harsh cleaning agents on cabinet surfaces.
This Warranty does not cover damage to the cabinets from improper assembly or installation, negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, unauthorized repair, alteration, modification, accidents, trauma, fire, water damage, or other catastrophe, or if a product is routinely subjected to extreme temperatures, or unusually humid or dry conditions. Costs related to damages incurred in transit, handling, installation, and all costs related to the transportation, removal or reinstallation of effective products are NOT assumed under this Warranty.
The Mei Kitchens Faucet Warranty
Mei Kitchens faucet provides a 3 year warranty (from the date of purchase) to the original purchaser with proof of purchase (sales receipt). We recommend using a professional plumber for all installation and repair. For any part or finish that proves defective in material, a replacement for the defect will be provided.
This warranty excludes: Labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, or replacement as well as any other kind of loss or damages. The warranty does not cover any damage to this faucet from the result of misuse, abuse, or neglect, or any use of other than official Mei Kitchens replacement parts. This is the exclusive warranty by Mei Kitchens, which does not make any other warranty of any kind. Exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages may or may not apply to you depending on your state/province.
